St Francis Sharing and Caring has a distribution site for the senior food box program and provides funding for three local backpack programs for students in need of food assistance.
We currently do not offer any SNAP assistance.
Our Services and Programs
- Monthly Food Pantry: We provide a monthly food pantry service to families in need from Con. Twp.
- Thrift Store: Our thrift store offers reasonably priced clothing and household items to our valued customers.
- Cash Assistance Program: Our cash assistance program extends help to Con. Twp. residents in need, covering expenses such as mortgage, rent, water, sewage, electric, and heating bills.
- Love Our Neighbor Fund: The Love Our Neighbor fund is dedicated to providing assistance with utilities to our neighbors in Somerset County.
- Community Market: Running from May to August, our Community Market offers fresh produce, hot meals, handcrafted items, and a variety of vendors on a weekly basis.
- Diaper Bank: In collaboration with the United Way, we host a Diaper Bank on the last Tuesday of each month, offering support to families in Con. Twp. and the North Star school districts.
- Backpack Program: We allocate funds to support backpack programs at CT Elementary, CT Head Start, and JCS.
- Meals on Wheels Distribution: St. Francis Sharing and Caring is the distribution point for the Con. Twp. Meals on Wheels program.
